Kiko Berenguer Freedom Experience

Freedom experience is the result of a development in Kiko Berenguers diverse professional life that has been lasting for over 20 years. During this time, he had the opportunity to learn as part of various ensembles and evolve his own multifaceted nature – as a sideman, solo artist, composer, and producer. All of these influences are reflected in his first album “Papi toca el saxo” (Papi is playing the Saxophone), a collaboration with US trumpet player Terell Stafford.
Based on this album and his last tours, Kiko Berenguer has now reach a level of personal and professional maturity that enables him to leave his previous works behind and embark on a quest with the goal to find his very own sound. This sensation of beauty and total freedom is perfectly reflected in his second album “Mi camino” (My Way), released in 2010, and his third album “Aire” (Air), released in 2013. These albums are expressions of his original and creative personality. In his compositions, he combines elements of various origins such as Jazz, Flamenco, and Mediterranean music and thus creates a world of sound full of sensitivity and character.
With this format, Kiko Berenguer familiarizes his audience with the music of his last two albums – at the highest possible audio fidelity compared with the elements used for the recordings. For this, he combines the sound of his saxophone with vocals, dance, the accordion, clapping the Flamenco guitar… and thus creates a magic atmosphere that captivates the audience at his concerts.
